I was SO excited to capture Chris and Elysse’s engagement photographs. They’re madly in love and incredibly down-to-earth and easy going. Mountain people are my kind of people. Their engagement photoshoot was so relaxed, it felt like I was just third-wheeling on their date night. Their pup Colt frolicked in the high-mountain meadows near Vail, he even jumped in for a few photos with his humans.

After the sunset, the clouds cleared and we watched the mountain tops light up with Alpenglow.
